I know Copps is one of four players to make over 400 appearances.

Can any of you tell me how many appearances the other 400+ appearance makers made.

Is this correct?
Duggie 468
Fred Emery 437
Bert Tindill 429

Nearly! Fred Emery is on 438 appearances.

Before today's game Coppinger is on 417 appearances. He should pass Tindill and Emery this season assuming he stays clear of injuries.

I know it doesn't officially count, but Tindall also made about another 51 appearances during the war. Syd Bycroft comes top when the wartime games are included.

Good points. It's testament to Coppinger that he's in that Pantheon of Rovers Greats.

Coppinger is a player to be proud of,especially nowadays,it will happen less and less,four hundred and seventeen appearances,that shows a level of loyalty and ability,well done James :thumbsup:
