Are you 17 as suggested in your username?  Getting finance at that age would be pretty much impossible.

If mum is going to do it, go to www.moneysavingexpert.com and look at the 0% credit card deals around at the moment - apply quickly to catch the early bird offer if poss.....then you can spread the cost  - but make sure you pay it off a few weeks before the end of the interest free period to avoid any nasty charges.

Worth noting that you need a credit card which has 0% on purchases rather than a 0% balance transfer card.
