Rooney to Rovers.....

According to the Daily Mail, Sean is keen to sign John Rooney after a trial, although we face competition from the Blades and Derby are also sniffing, I think. The Mail think he is a striker but the Macclesfield site says he plays midfield.

He's looked really impressive down there aswell.  I'd be pleased with his signing for sure.

Definately looks to be a midfielder though, he's not a great goalscorer.

If we've been 'linked' with him you can pretty much guarantee that we won't be signing him.

All we need now is for Rigo to talk about eating a part of a dog's reproductive system and we'll be certain to get him!!

Yeah it was on Sky Sports last week that he was at Derby on trial, showed footage and eevrything. No idea what he's like tbh, but he's definitely not a striker, I remember a feature they did on him on I believe the Football League show nearer to the start of the season.
