So the The Play offs then....
« on April 27, 2013, 08:23:31 pm by roversdaft »
Now we are out of the dreaded play off scenario, and Champions of course (feels good saying that)
The League one play offs will be cracking. Who do we think/ want to go through?

For me it's Brentford, the class act of those that's left.

Although a Hayter winner in the final would also be quality!

Can I be the first to say, I really don't care. But if I had to be pushed - Yeovil for Hayter and Webster.

Yeovil. Brentford fans throwing stuff at Sulli put me off them.

I'd like to see Yeovil win it, what a great achievement it would be for them, and hopefully they'd finish below us next season! Wouldn't be too disappointed if the blades went up though, another big Championship derby to fill the Keepmoat.

I'd say Brentford are the better side, but usually if you miss a chance like they have today, you dont get another.

Oh well, shit happens :P
I really dislike cockneys anyway.

I'd like Yeovil to win it.

I'd say Brentford go in favourites though. But I suppose their chances depend a lot on how deflated they are after today.

Sheff united are a pretty miserable uninspiring team and club at the moment. Don't care for them or Kitson. Brentford's overconfidence all week has put me off them. Either Swindon or Yeovil would be my picks, not fussed between the two.

Sorry, that was soooo juvenile.

But isn't it just f**king brilliant to be able to sit back, pull on yer slippers, light up a Hamlet and pontificate about which team we might deem worthy of toiling their way through the play-offs in order to earn the right to join us in the Promised Land.....?

I am bloody loving it.

I agree about Brentford. We've not had any issues with Bournemouth supporters but somehow the club seemed to be celebrating becoming Champions as if it was a formality and listening to Eddie Howe's post match interview, you would think they'd dropped in to the play-offs.

Eddie, you didn't lose it, we won it!

As for the Blades, well for South Yorks comradeship and rivalry, I wouldn't begrudge them promotion but they have got to go and earn it.

Yeovil, will be a massive achievement if they could get to Wembley and who'd bet against James repeating history. Be great for another 'small' club to beat the odds.

Swindon? I have no feelings for them.

Of course, in terms of looking forward to as many local derbies in the Championship as possible, any mature adult would hope to see the Blades make it through the play-offs.

But I hope they get beat in the semi's and have to languish another year in League One because Kitson is a **** and he deserves it!

Ha bloody Ha!!

We don't want Yeovil in there. They always nick points off us.

Personally,  I'd take Sheff U just for the local derby factor. Shame it's got no chance of happening.

For me it's usually the team, that has gone off the boil near the end of the season, usually wins it,and though Chris Morgan has little to no chance of being a good manager,Sheff utd will win the play-offs.

Don't bother relying then!
