Chris Taylor - An ideal opportunity to sign him...

I would imagine he is one of the 'big earners' at the club, get a cheeky bid in for him and let him showcase his talent at the KM next season.

We could swap him for Lewis!

Am I right in thinking that we would be entitled to some kind of payment for Lewis regardless of whether his contract has expired as he is still only 24?

I'd rather have Martyn Woolford from Scunny, if we are going to go for that type of player.

My mate an Oldham fan says he's not improved, in fact he's got worse.  Maybe he needs the change of scenery, but he reckons he's comfy at Oldham and that's all he aspires to.

Big praise for Guy from him though.

Whilst he seemed to excel when we were at that level I had completely forgotten about the lad, which is slightly worrying. I'd see it as a gamble in a way and would prefer to look at bedale rover's favourite player: Mr Woolford  :cheer:

Ah ... I just had to look at the teams for last Saturday to see whether Woolford was playing .... perhaps that was an off day .... yes?

Although I never rated the left footed Oldham fan either

Regarding wide left players, I know this sounds like 'a mate told me', which it is, but a good mate of mine is friendly with Danny Schofield, who has been around the clubs a bit recently, and would absolutely relish a move to Donny (my mate is a Huddersfield supporter and tries not to give me any positive stuff about Donny!). I've always rated Schofield, he's from the Donny area, and he chips in with a few goals. Not the youngest option though.

I'm not sure whether it's 24-and-under, or just under-24, but either way the rule only applies if the player is offered equal or better terms to his existing contract and turns it down. We wouldn't be entitled to anything if he just walked away without being offered a new deal.
