The Oxford keeper got a straight red yesterday for handling outside his area. Is that his season finished? or only a one-match ban.?
-
Straight reds normally 3 match ban fingers crossed this is the case
-
Should be just 1 game for handball.
-
Are there different levels of punishment for a straight red card then.
-
And another keeper (?) got a yellow for same offence
-
Didn't Marco get just a 1 game ban ?
-
One match ban he will be back for us
-
Violent conduct is 3 game ban.

Absolutely, yes.
As Rob says, violent conduct is a three match ban which can still be extended further when reviewed by the footballing authorities. Other less severe straight reds, such as handling outside of the area, carry a one game ban.
Personally I would like to see some lower level of sending-offs punished with only the sending off from the current game, those based around technical infringement rather than unsporting intent.

Owls keeper after about 10 minutes of Norwich game
Almost same situation / distance etc - and he got a Yellow. Who says lets have consistency ?
-
Think dissent (rare you get a straight red but it can happen) is only a two game ban.
-
Thanks Wolfie knew I’d seen it somewhere
Will get round to that pint sometime I promise lol
-
Its still waiting !
-
Appreciated thanks

Apparently the 21 year old who came on after the dismissal had a very good game, so it possibly won't matter either way.

he will only have a one match ban anyway

The difference probably was how much the red card one was denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
I don’t think a goalie handling outside the box is an automatic red card, although in most cases it happens to be a dogso..
