Imagine we might be loaning Bogle out so still paying a bit of his wages. He might agree to leaving for less money (presumably in L2). But if not that'll be the only way to free up any money.

Think Charlton were glad for us to take him off the wage bill so it was nothing or next to nothing. Same as we'll get anyway.

Yes, freeing up the wage is the main financial gain here. Would imagine he is on decent money coming from Charlton and not long out of the Championship.

May be it is about location. He is from the West Midlands, so a move to either Port Vale or Wallsall would be a good fit.

I think he's shown flashes of good hold up play but his confidence is clearly long gone. I wonder if he even has any desire to play football or if he's more interested in other things.

That'll do him for this season, but what about next? He'd surely be in a better position football-wise and earnings-wise for the next 5 years if he was at a club where he's a regular and has the opportunity to show what he can do.

We don't know the ins and outs though so it's difficult to criticise his decision at face value. We gave him the contract so have to honour it.

People making out like he's a bad guy, he's not. He's entitled to do this. It's a difficult one though as Wellens clearly doesn't rate him and it's funds we would rather use elsewhere.

What gets me is, and its the same with Ed Williams... RW says these players don't have a future with us so move on, they are sat on nice contracts and you can bet your life that both Williams and Bogle will start tomorrow... So they are in no loose scenarios... Williams must be laughing, he's on good money, gets told he isn't good enough for us but is sat on the bench every week
