How poor were they, and their fans, they don’t deserve to be involved in big games

Young team. They were on top in the first 20. Agree crowd was very languid. But they’re in the playoffs on merit, like us.

Thought the Crewe fans were very poor 2 nil down and didn’t even try and get behind their team. Remember when we were 2 down vs barrow and we were right behind the players, sometimes we need to push the players on.

It was like they had thought oh well good try but let’s move onto next season

Not too long ago we’d have conceded goals in that 20 minute early spell from Crewe.
We rode the storm and played to our tempo there after, pretty much controlling the game.
But it’s a little warning that we need to be on it on Friday. I wouldn’t want another 20 mins of that.

Let’s not be sore winners. There would almost certainly be a thread on here bemoaning their fans being big headed if they’d posted this about us.

They’re a decent club. But let’s hope we finish the job Friday.

The most noise the Crewe fans made was when they had a long throw in.

Is that as exciting as it’s got for them recently?

Let’s not take the piss, lads. They are a good club with a youth academy we can only dream of. No need to pull the Jonny big b*llocks out.

What rubbish. The team are there because they finished 6th in the table and fully deserve to be. As for the fans…the Keepmoat has been a library on many occasions, I don’t remember it rocking when we were 2 nil down after 35 minutes against Charlton in the League One playoffs. Did that mean we were any less deserving of being there?

Good point as usual

People with short memories of the almost total gloom we have endured this Season right up to DRFC 0 Morecambe 5 in mid December

They say the Table doesn't lie and we made an unprecedented surge to get in Play Offs

Crewe had a slump but still like us had enough Points to finish above the dotted line

Momentum Sky commentators called it but it is working in opposite directions for 2 Clubs. At 2-0 their body language said it all

We should really go on to win now but I take nothing for granted. It's still a Cup Match where anything can still happen but I still think their fans were not as "unhappy" as we were when watching then leaving v Morecambe

It was simply what it was.

A team in title form over the past dozen games vs a team in relegation form.

That Rowe who came on looked lively for them. Had they started both him and Tracey that dual pace could have caused us more issues.

The 2 centre forwards were meat and drink for Wood and Anderson. Strange choice from the Crewe gaffer to just start lumping it up to them. Won’t work.

Their midfield was very lightweight also.
