Really impressed with the lad, first time I’ve seen him & you can see he’s got a certain level of pedigree. He was really good on the ball, however he didn’t face many high balls that was down to the opposition  - think Richie has brought us in a little gem

Id agree with this, he looks to be very comfortable with the ball at his feet, which given RW style would be a huge benefit.

At this level though you are facing Charlie Wyke not Kevin De Bruyne. Hope he can handle the rough stuff as well, given how much of it there is to go around in League One.

Your Wyke analogy is correct but we’re not going to be facing him every week - I think the lad would play really well alongside big Tom, so merely having him around should keep Ro-Shawn on his toes

Wyke spends more time falling over

Fair comment but he does look quite an athlete to be fair. Hopefully if he’s any good we’ll sort him a longer contract in the near future, definitely the sort of player who could develop with us and then make us some money!

He looked ok last night but judging players against 17 year olds can be a bit misleading.

Agree with the plaudits - one we need to look at extending the contract

Looked very good last night, got in the way of everything and looked comfortable with the ball, my MOTM alongside Dodoo. They were very good with the ball as u would expect and most of them would defo do well in league 1 or even the championship so was a really good test.

Good signing this lad, seems a nice guy going by the interview he had.

He’s already played against Charlie Wyke two weeks ago in his first game He didn’t score bot Keane did.

This. Impossible to make a firm judgement yet, although early (very early) signs sound promising.

The true test will come in the league and whether he can put consistent performances together at this level

And he did alright when he did face Wyke.
