Just heard his post match, jeez hes a very bitter man. Not sure he was watching the same game.

Never liked him, a Kitson of the highest order.

Thought he was pissed off with his player’s performance and attitude. Soft goals and lack of effort.

Went down in my estimation last night, never stopped at the officials, I think he rates himself much better than he is.

What's he done since the success at Lincoln?.......nothing!
Very bitter - get back to non-league!

‘All four goals were soft’ - absolute garbage. Maybe Anderson’s, because their keeper should and could have done better, but it’s ’Marauding Maldini’ getting on the end of an excellent free kick by HA!

Exactly- what a prick he is and his team didn't deserve that roasting last night, they put a right shift in but were outclassed thats all.

Mickey Walker clearly not a fan either based on his commentary last night.

That interview with Cowley is a shocker. Attacking everyone except himself. The players should not have to take that rubbish.

And what he said about them controlling the game, being in the ascendency that second half when we scored...deluded.   All our goals were lucky and "soft", apparently.

Hey, Danny, you're 22nd after 45 games for a reason, and it's not all luck.

Mickey Walker should never be commenting on a Rovers game, he hates the club and only wants to talk about Sheffield Wednesday.

depends how you look at it,from his side yes and we would be saying the same,1st goal they shouldn’t of let moly come inside to get a shot in,2nd shouldn’t of let moly get to by line and 3rd keeper error,4th hurst did his man easily and could have even gone done for a pen.

before the 3rd went in they were ontop but like we know plenty of times in the past if you don’t score when on top it usually comes back to bite you

I didn't think he was as bad as he usually is last night, it's  a low bar granted, & he did refer to us as "us" once or twice, which surprised me.
That said, after comments on here, I switched to radio Essex commentary for the second half, best away comms I've heard on iffolow tbh.

Just listened to his interview.
What a prat!

If I was one of his players that certainly wouldn't have motivated me.

That interview was a shocker. Hung all his players out to dry. Absolutely no acceptance of like, winning together, losing together, using Doncaster as inspiration for the next game etc.

I don’t mind Colchester but I would like them to get relegated because of that pillock Danny Cowley, he’ll be back in a classroom in a couple of years

How can he say we weren't trying to score goals.

We literally brought on Kyle Hurst and I thought that last 15-20 minutes was our most threatening period of the game.

What a plonker.

Exactly this.
The guy is deluded and that interview was a car-crash.

Rovers never stopped going forward looking for goals last night; the vast majority of teams would have hung back and wasted time at every opportunity.
If Cowley can't see that, or is not big enough to admit it, then he deserves to fail.

He had clearly set his team up to sit deep and hit on the counter attack on the assumption that Rovers would play (as another bitter manager said this week) "gung-ho football."

When we played intelligent possession-based football to draw his team out and varied the pace, line and length of our forward balls it confounded his game plan so he's just trying to deflect from his own mistakes.

We scored 4 goals, just imagine if we try to score goals eh?

What does that say about his defenders when they concede 4 goals against a time not trying to score goals?

His biggest mistake was in ever leaving Lincoln clearly thinking that on the back of his success there he’d go on to be a top Premiership manager.

Do me a favour.

Let’s see where he lands next when Colchester sack him.

But he did say according to the local newspaper:
“They're a team that have the best two wide players in the league in Molyneux and Adelakun and I thought Ironside was a real handful.”

Thank you very much!

You'd think that managers would give us a bit of credit after 13 wins, doesn't seem to happen much. Though he did praise our wingers.
