The mysterious case of the missing...
« on February 26, 2011, 08:12:05 pm by Deano »
Rear wipers!

Does anybody else park in the toys r us car park and has recently had their rear wiper stolen? And I'm not just talking about the blade, I'm talking about the whole arm! My dad has had this happen to him twice now and I also noticed today a couple more missing on other cars! What has the world come to? There not even that expensive! Little shits!

Might be worth asking if there's anything on CCTV.

Maybe someone in the store resents football fans taking customer's parking spaces. Car windows started getting broken in the streets around Bradford Cit's ground some years ago. This was purely to deter people from parking in front of locl's houses. This was in run down housing where there wasn't a problem until local's startedd affording cars and had nowhere to park on match days.

Funny you should mention this.
On the way home yesterday, coming up to the Ledger hotel roundabout, I pointed out to our kid that the car in front of us had a missing back wiper blade but the \"stumpy\" bit was still there and still worked.
It was a blue car with some Rovers stickers in the windows.
Was this car parked in Toys R Us I wonder?

Have all of the cars with missing wipers had Rovers stickers/insignia on display?

It's definately got nothing to do with rovers merchandise in the car, they do seem to be targeting vw group cars though, so watch out if you park there!

I must admit I can't stop laughing about the whole thing, so I can understand the jokes.

Ps maybe it was them barnsley fans from down the road, they might think that they are good whipping devices for their ponys, they are a strange bunch after all!
