You've got to look after the Wednesday fans who can't be bothered to go to a home match, or don't have Sky, or don't want to watch it at pub.

I was driving last night, hoping for the comfort of some reports from the game on Radion 5 or at least an occasional score update. The game wasn't mentioned at all, not even in the full time results.

Both sides in the Championship next season. They'll be hoping dingles go down next season.

We have Trax FM, why can't they be the 'go to' radio station for all Rovers games?

Yes I think it is about time they got their act together and had more football on.
Let's face it they can't have any less can they.

The clue is in the name of the radio station...

This has been done a dozen times before, but Radio Sheffield are our local BBC Station, funded using our licence fee, which means they have a responsibility to provide decent coverage of our local football, whether they like it or not.

Question that no one has asked is how many punters would have tunned into the Newport v rovers game if that had been on?

For sure many people from Doncaster would have been sat by their wireless ,but how many Barnsley/Rotherham / Sheffield utd fans would have tunned in?

For sure no Sheffield utd fans would have picked up the Sheffield weds v bham city game that was on.

I don't think that many Barnsley,Donny, Rotherham or Blunts fans would have tuned in to listen to the Weds. match either.

A good point but if say 5000 Sheffield weds fans tuned into the Sheffield weds v brum city game ,how close to that 5000 would have tuned into the Newport v donny game when you will have more interest from Barnsley,Rotherham and Sheffield utd fans .

Surely radio Sheffield should have an idea or are they just lazy bas**rds
