If Gordon Ramsey/Jamie Oliver is on the way...

Does that mean we'll have like really dead posh food, Chicken Goujons, Buffalo Wings and Mini Pizzas? Instead of ketchup, piri piri dip, perhaps? Campuccino instead of Coffee?

When I went to a cricket match at John Paul Getty's gaff (Wormsley in Buckinghamshire) a couple of years back Jamie Oliver's firm was doing the catering. It was good quality stuff, but bloody expensive. I doubt too many people at the KMS would fancy shelling out £4.50 for a burger, even though it was a good one.

£4.50 is just the burger, the bun is £2.50 per slice.

After his health kick to the people of Rotherham I doubt that Jamie will allow  chips or burgers to be on the menu

None. They would have cost a lot more!

Those criticising TB and DW ought to have been around in the 50's ,60's and 70's when the only hope of survival was to sell our best players at the end of every season .

What period of time should those criticising JR have been around in? I'd suggest 1997/98.

I was around in both the 70s (and 80s) when Rovers were notorious as a selling club with no ambition and in 1997/98. It is because of those experiences that I am very cautious about a possible change of ownership.

I think the club owes John Ryan a huge debt for what he did from 1998 onwards, but you have to admit his last two attempts to "chase the dream" have not held water. I'm talking here about "the Experiment" and Sequentia. Maybe this time he's got it right. I hope so.

Good. Your track record means that your 'confirmation' of the story gives it the kiss of death.

How's your microwave Glyn? Capable of warming up a slice of humble pie?

Well if you require any help stirring a cake mixture to make a fresh one, there's several people on here pretty good at that.....

I Hope the Humble pie is better than the cuisine on offer at the Keepmoat, either nuked or as cold as a fish :coat:
