Wasn't it 2 men sent off?

EDIT - One Man - Jamie Price? And didn't Marples get injured that game too?

We also played woking was it on a Sunday in the Conference? We won, it was cold, there was a streaker, and we had followed Liverpool v Man United. Nothing like a comedown for the armchair SS fan!

EDIT - That was a home game!!

I do remember that Daggers game that Jamie Price got sent off in now actually. The Woking game was definitely at home...I remember there was a streaker but thats about it! :P

Oh and Warren Patmore was playing for Woking.

It was Tris Whitman who was sent off in that Dagenham game for the most innocuous challenge I've ever seen. The Dagenham player kicked the ball and Whitman basically ran into his outstretched leg. I was only young at the time but I remember going mad.

Guy missed a penalty then did one of his more obscene dives to win a second one.

The revolting t**t of a player that he is.

4 train tickets already booked for this. No chance of a refund, so i suppose we'll have to go on the lash in London instead.

Do we get any extra TV revenue for this? Maybe the club could pay for travel costs for those die hard enough to go!

No, it goes to the home club

Apparently we get in region of 10 grand

Did the clubs (esp. Rovers) get any say in the change?

Did Lewis Guy dive? That was probably more likely.... Or was it that Mickey Walker sent him to the shop for some chewing gum?

Right game,  Jenny,  but wrong player. It was Thornton who Mickey sent to the shops.

Gavin said we get £10,000 for a televised away game (Home team £30,000) so, it may be prudent to raise the question politely about transport and some kind of gesture for those who have got non refundable train tickets for the original date.

I think that is definitley something than can be asked and it would be a very well received gesture from the club.

think it would be great of the club, and would see more turn out to support the team on the day.

The problem is that the league allow Sky to change the fixture anything up to 6 weeks in advance. Today was the last day this could have been done. Doesn't help those with tickets who can't now go or those with travel paid for,  but it's within the rules.

We can ask the club if there is anything they can do to compensate fans who can't now go,  but I wouldn't hold your breath. We know all available funds are being pumped into the promotion push and a 10k windfall could get us a quality loanee for a month or so (or Darren Esdaille for 12 months)

Deja Vu much? That's all I saw Paynter do against the Blunts last week. Who was the ref that day I wonder?

It could be a good thing for crowds in a sense - we're better away and we're on tele away, could tempt a few down.

If any of you who haven't got sky know someone who has, ask them to create you an account on Sky Go. A Sky user can register two different computers to their account so if they're kind they'll let you use one of them and you can watch on your PC for free. I haven't paid to watch any Sky programmes for years but will be watching this one for nowt, just like I'm watching Bradford beating Villa right now.
