I've looked on the BBC weather text, and it just says rain.
-
Looked ominous for Monday on BBC.
The used the "get out of jail" phrase - at the moment we dont know how far North the snow zone will be " - but if it is anywhere near what it showed it could well be pretty rough around game time
They also said the snow will be falling in the Hills but a significnt amount will fall at lower levels
As usual we will have to wait and see !
-
Looking worse from the Midlands down.
-
Looking ok from this latest BBC Prediction - added to our micro climate
https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/2651123
However as they say "keep watching - because it is unclear how far North the snow will travel"
-
Looks absolutely miserable weather!
-
The action will compensate ! 2-1 today and 3-1 Monday  (should be a Rose Tinted Glasses Emoji for me I suppose !)
-
If you like weather sites have a look at www.windy.com. I love it! You can see temp, wind, rain, cloud cover, etc all round the world.

That website sounds like one for nervous defenders Geoff.
-
That looks cool.
-
Now forecasted to be hitting the north so we could be in danger of snow on Monday. If it is called off, it will be a busy end to the season at the Keepmoat as you would expect it to be rearranged for Tuesday 1st May. That would mean eight games in 28-days with five of the last six at home.
-
Just had a look on BBC weather site.. maybe some sleet over night Sunday into Monday morning but then heavy rain and about 5 or 6 degrees by match time..

We're on Snow Patrol here in Bangor........ :chair:
-
Latest Forecast really does look like disruption for us. Does not look good at all and seems to be worst at the worst time in the few hours before the game
Lap of the gods now - and we could get lucky !
-
Windy with heavy rain forecast on BBC Wolfie. I have not seen this pitch hold water yet mate.
-
Aye the Website is different again to the "real" Forecast as it is Sleet till 10am then as you say heavy rain / rain but a wind that wont stop us getting there or the Team getting three !
-
We're on Snow Patrol here in Bangor........ :chair:
You won't be "Chasing Cars " down to Pickie Pool then

Nah, they normally play in Ward Park.
Was beginning to think no-one was picking up on our local band.
-
Just checked on bbc again.. 3 degrees and sleet in the morning then rain later.. can’t see that putting the match in doubt? Not even close to freezing!!
-
The match will be on, we might not have the most pleasant time sitting out in it but I've no doubt about it being played.
-
If it doesn't snow properly until the game starts, I think it'll be fine. I think a lot of refs at this stage of the season will have the common sense to get games played and not call it off, when it can be avoided, due to 'elf and 'sefty.
This kind of thread is useful for those of us travelling from a distance, but this kind of post doesn’t really inform too well.
‘If it doesn’t snow properly until the game starts, I think it’ll be fine’.

Truth is - nobody can actually know. They can predict / Forecast etc and we the proles on here can offer our opinions and gut feelings ....
... but weather being a natural entity is ever changing and we will only know for sure tomorrow. Personally the Forecast looks poor but - its a no shit sherlock statement - we will just have to hope it misses us

Pancho, when it comes to bad weather, Doncaster is the land of milk and honey.

Absolutely! You never get any bad weather, you wimps!
-
I will make a prediction, if the police on duty get double time and a days holiday in liu, it will be on.

Forecast (Even they dont get it that wrong so close) says rain rain rain and then more than likely dry at KO time
Panic looks to be over ! 3-0 as well (heap on - at least one of those predictions lol)
-
And the sprinklers will still be used before the game and at half time.

Oh NO !
Just got myself settled weather wise and you introduce the word "Sprinkler" and the possibility of another huge hole like the one v Fleetwood - possibly Match Off again now !
-
Snowing in Bradford and now starting to settle. The sky looks full of it, going to the gym and hope it's not too bad when I come out.
-
Sleet here in the Tropic of Stainforth
-
Snow settling in Barnburgh. Rain forecast for later so shouldn't be an issue
-
Just starting to settle in Scawsby.
-
Snowing in cantley and just stating to settle if it carries on game could be called off hope it turns to rain quick and stays that way or stops and dries up
-
The only fear of this game being off is waterlogged pitch
-
I hope it’s on to as I’m selecting the man of the match today
-
Marquis for his 2 goals out of our Three !
-
With current form, its vital we get this game played, this run has to continue. It's settling in skellow, but the ground is very wet..
-
Latest BBC Forecast shows Sleet till 10 then rain rain and more rain till before KO - when it is predicted to stop and be dry for all the game.
-
More chance of seeing rocking horse sh*t in Pollington.
-

Question for you Adam, do you eat the Skellow snow?
-
With heavy rain forecast until 6 tonight therefore a strong possibility of a waterlogged pitch. Anyone know how the drainage is at the Keepmoat, Bellevue was brilliant for that.
-
I.m 0.5 miles from the keep moat and it is now raining. Not heavily either. I predict it goes ahead and I'm fairly confident.

I can remember a game against MKDons being called off very late because of a waterlogged pitch a few years ago.

Not settling in Campsall. Snow now turning to rain. 9.04 am
More chance of a waterlogged pitch putting game off than any snow that is for certain.
-
Cantley weather update 9.18 just rain can't see any issues with the game not going ahead

Not sure of the drainiage BUT latest bbc Forecast says rain will stop before KO probably by 1pm
-
been snowing in Skellow but to wet to settle it has stopped now at 9.15
-
I realise this hasn't much relevance to Doncaster, but where I live near Birmingham we've had a lot of rain, no snow, and the rain has eased significantly in the last half hour. That forecast that it will stop in Donny by 1pm may be right.

Wasn't that the match where some poor bloke cycled from Milton Keynes?
-
I’m just about to set off from Holmfirth for the match - currently 15cm of snow out here. It could take me some time to get there today....

You need to be a Frank Zappa fan to fully appreciate those lyrics!
5-6 inches of snow in S Sheffield but raining now on top of it- lovely!
-
Just p*ss*ng down with rain in Lincolnshire and I mean, absolutely p*ss*ng down - waterproofs at the ready for the footie and our dog, Basil, refusing to go out for his walk, or even a sh*te! Fair weather pooch! :turd:
Waterlogged pitch? Well, my lawn certainly is, like a bloody lake! :woot:

Woodhead Pass is closed if you're coming that way
-
Rained for 24hrs here in Cornwall I promise the game will go ahead !
-
Think Woodhead is only open 2 weeks a year lol
Rain in Sprotbrough getting rid of snow
-
Cheers Filo. I’m taking the ‘scenic’ route through Huddersfield to avoid the worst hit hills/villages
-
Reports on Wimbledon forum game off?
-
And on BBC sport website as off
-
And on BBC sport website as off
Well I did say waterlogging was a possibility, although I didnt expect it to be bad enough for the match to be off. Oldham, Scunthorpe & Accrington all still on !!!
-
I hope that cov drfc has got talk sport on or something,it's a long way for nothing.

Oldham & Accrington are still on !
More rain East of Pennines than West obviously.
-
Doncaster, Bradford, scunny, forest all off. We must be the sweet spot.
-
Chesterfield and Morecambe now as well - and still loads of time for more to be called off or started and abandoned - I for one would be surprised if thats it
-
Charlton still on.
-
At least to complete the circle we didnt get snowed off
