Thank you. He got a call at 3pm yesterday from the lead singer of a Sex Pistols tribute band to fill in at a gig in Manchester last night after their drummer let them down last minute.
He had to learn the set list on the way in his car for a 90 minute set.
It went really well by all accounts so fingers crossed that they offer him role full time.

The lead singer/guitarist called time on it out of the blue. They were doing well but not sure if he had the minerals to graft to get to the next level.

He's managed to bag himself the Sex Pistols Exposé gig full time. Fantastic opportunity for him as he'll be touring England and Scotland more or less straight away with a short tour in Germany in between.

Just an update. My lad has just done his first two official gigs with the Sex Pistols Exposé, Worcester on Friday night and Bedford on Saturday night.
Ive got to say that I thought previously that tribute bands were a bit pony and although I don't mind the sex pistols I've never been a big fan but listening to these perform and the whole act totally blew me away.
The crowd interaction is worth the entrance fee alone and the music is bang on the button.
These guys are perfectionist's and my lad has really had to up his game.

If you're up for a proper raucous night and like a bit of punk, they are playing at the Empress Building in Mexborough on the 7th July.
