I think we will be in the top six all season, if we are lucky with injuries there is no reason we cant make the play offs or better. JMO

Is that factoring in a random, catastrophic collapse in form that Ferguson is incapable of arresting?

Anywhere between 4th and 12th.
Very difficult to predict this league this season.
We will have a much better idea at the end of October.

Stay relatively free of injuries I think top 8.
Normal Rovers season of injuries - 14th

14th

Also, think Fergie will leave next summer for another challenge.

Mid table. Decent start but think we will tail off in the second half of the season.

Any reason you think that?

Just a feeling I have Mush. Not sure why, just get the feeling he will move on after this season, especially if we fail to mount a serious challange (which I honestly dont think we will).

Truly hope I am wrong on all counts!!  :scarf:

1st
I don't have strong feelings of what will happen this year. It's either haven't got a clue or that we might go one better this season-so i'll be an optimist around 50/1 to win the title.

Think if we can start of well and not fall to far behind playoffs could be the target.

However I think we will finish just outside maybe by 10 points will be a close league this season

Defensively I don't think we are good enough, although time will tell. Other than Blackburn, who have really made some good signings for this level, I'm not overly worried about the opposition and I think we will score plenty but the other end might cost us finishing in the top 6. 11th

People are forgetting that after Christmas last season we were very good defensively, statistically at least.
Something like second or third least goals conceded.
I will say that Matty Baudry had a big influence on that but he wont be out for too long will he.

The kid from Man City I've got a good feeling about. Title winners. Left back half our goals came from there last season. Now we have a decent left back. Mason and Evian were poor there all season

Evian allegedly leaked a few.

I've been undecided on this all pre-season - I want us to do well and get back to the championship but fear we may not be as good as we think and have a difficult season. I always have a little bet on how I feel we'll do to win next years ST and backed us to be champions last season (!!). Also backed us to go up when we were relegated and down when we were promoted so not entirely successful in predicting our season. However I noticed we were a similar price for promotion and relegation so I've gone £25 for promotion at 9/1 and the same bet for relegation at 8/1. No doubt we are destined for mid table!!

In recent years we havent done mid table very often so maybe we will be due for it this time.

I just hope we leave the ground today feeling excited about the season ahead and raise a few eyebrows.

It's a long old season but if we can maintain good home form then it'll keep us in the hunt.

Come on Copps, lights, camera...action!
