England are playing Iceland in the next round.
-
Not any more.
-
Nailed on to be Portugal wasn't it?????
-
I think both Portugal and England will ironically be hoping for a winner now in the Iceland/Austria match.
-
Even a winner for Portugal wouldn't be too bad.
-
Iceland it is then
-
Nice!
-
Love their Profiteroles and Chicken dippers.

It's absolutely the best result for Portugal as well. Lucky buggers. 3 points and they have a half decent chance of making the final.
-
Maybe they're in the 'better half' of the draw but I know who I'd rather play next between England and Croatia.
Iceland is not good news for us, we've proven we can't break down defensive teams.

Did we not score 2 goals against Wales who parked 9 men behind the ball in the 2nd half?
And however much you wet flannels want knock England for the sake of it, Portugal definitely did not want to be in England's side of the draw.

We did indeed. But I'm not knocking England for the sake of it, I want us to do well. I just wish people would give Iceland the respect they deserve. They're a good team, they have earned as many points as us so far and should not be taken for granted.

And in a harder group.
-
Well I think England will rock the foundations of the football world and beat Iceland.

It would at least shock a few on this forum.
