Of course they were very quiet when they beat us, especially the keeper.

Bloody idiot, it is the same at any local derby it is bragging rights. Leave them to it if they think they are that good, the final league table will tell them how good they are, perhaps Portsmouth may have a score to settle with them yet, as well as Exeter.

Maybe people want to beat them because they have a couple of prize bell-ends in their team. See above.

Big Club? Medium sized club at best. First thing that pops into people's heads about Plymouth is pain in the arse to get to. That's about it.

We do ,but we do not think  a lot about them though, not a lot to think about them really.
Biggest claim to fame is they used to be the only team in green, then Yeovil finished that, cannot think of anything else of note.
Oh they are the biggest city to never have had a team play in the top division, but keep that quiet.

I don't suppose teams celebrate any more than clubs did against us in the conference.

Yes and as we went through on a different Thread .... the biggest City (with a Football Team *) that has never played in the top flight

* I wrote this in a more factual way than last time to exclude Wakefield

Sea urchins are included in the census in that area though.

....a few Pilgrims disappeared off to the colonies in 1640's, that'll reduced their numbers.

There was at least one family from the Donny, Scrooby area amongst them though so that evens it out a bit. 😉

Yes at least 2 though - the Brewsters (Scrooby) and the Bradfords (Austerfield) - I think so historically they were the equivalent of Donny Whites !

There was also a John Turner who went but died unfortunately in the first sickness - probably Manuitis
