Is his first name Donald?

Darren Sheldrake will take charge of this weekends Championship clash between Watford and Doncaster Rovers at Vicarage Road.
So far this season he has taken charge of just 2 games and as shown 8 yellow cards and 1 red.
Last season he took charge of 24 games, showing 54 yellow cards and 4 reds.
This is his fourth season on the National List and only his second in the Football League.
This will be just his second game in charge in the Championship having taken charge of the Peterborough v Preston Game last season and it will be the first time he`s taken charge of either Watford or Doncaster.
Referee: D. Sheldrake (Surrey)
Assistants: E. Kaye & S. L Massey
Fourth Official: C. J Berry

A rookie ref. Let's hope he doesn't go \"quackers\" with the cards. :silly:
The second assistant is female (especially for Rigo)- Sian Massey.

Quite surprised at the close proximity of his home (East Molesey) to Vicarage Road (35 miles) when gauged with the distance Watfords opponents have to travel on Saturday, not what I would describe as a neutral appointment in the grand scheme of things.

Beautiful. A female lino. I can't wait now.
Not happy with Chuck being the 4th official though.

Amazing what the BBC used to let slip under the radar in their innocence. I remember pissing myself watching that on ToTP as a 6 or 7 year old. I knew what he was on about!
Mind, the BBC never were very consistent on record bans. During the 1990 Gulf War, Radio 1 banned records by the B52s and Massive Attack, for fear of upsetting folk who were a bit squeamish at the thought of big bombs landing on people's houses. But they didn't ban \"Killing an Arab\" by The Cure.

Of course, being a \"local\" he may have a lifelong loathing of Watford FC and all it's works. Must admit that would be more likely if he hailed from Luton rather than Surrey!
