Ticket sales
« on April 07, 2011, 02:49:14 pm by The Red Baron »
I don't know if it is because the SMC have got the hump with Rovers since the fiasco over the pitch, but I notice the ticket sales for the forthcoming games don't seem to have been updated for ages.

Will be interesting to see if we get decent crowds on Saturday and next Tuesday.

I will find it interesting how many fans we take to Hull City away next week, 6 and 7 seasons ago we took quite a fair few fans, we are now 2 leagues above since our first visit to KC in the 2003/04 season in league two, I don't expect us to take half as many...

 I was actually worried about not getting my tickets for the next two away games - turns out nothing to worry about. Shame, mind.

Same here, although I suspect we'll sell a few for Hull tommorow and on Tuesday night, hopefully anyway

You can't buy tickets for away games on match days. So we won't sell any tommorrow or Tuesday.

Yes.  I  believe you can buy other match tickets up until 12 noon, then its that days game only.

We will take more than a few to Dull no worries, it's just the type of season that we are having that's causing this.
It's understandable considering the ridiculously unlucky season we have had in terms of injuries.........I have never heard of such a situation occurring at any club in over 40 years .

Well, looks like I'm over for the next three games. Hopefully my W5 D4 L2 (sorry Berks!) season stats will bring a bit of luck.

On match days isn't it all ticket sales from 9am till 10.30am, then match fixture sales from 10.30am on?!?

Please enlighten me as to why people who essentially are non season ticket holders would feel the neeed to shell out 25 quid to watch a team who are hardly \"Pulling up trees\" since late last year.

A team from Doncaster half way up the league would add 1K or so to gate, a team just outside playoffs 2-3K, a team in play offs 3-4K, a team in auto places 6K.

Folk are not going to pay simply to be \"entertained\" for 90 odd minutes.

No you wont, why the hell should i shell out £200 on air fare and car hire, £50 on accommodation and food, and £25 on ticket, in the small hope of seeing a victory. Thats what it is all about, VICTORY, pretty football is ok, but does anything really compare to a victory, i think not.

Ask someone who has bought a ticket for the game, they might be able to give you a reason.

I am sure that the 1K who have bought tickets will be able to give a reason why. Equally i am sure the 5K that have not can give reasons too. You know mine, £300 for a football match, nah not for me. mind having said that Tuesday wont be any cheaper for me, but i think more chance of a victory, so worth the trip.

Might have been an idea.. will do that next time, hadn't thought of that :) anyway, just about to reserve my Barnsley ticket for pickup on Tuesday :) (I know it looks silly getting Hull Monday then Barnsley Tuesday - there's a reason but it's hard to explain  )
