Entering the live streaming game;
https://www.theguardian.com/media/2018/jun/07/amazon-breaks-premier-league-hold-of-sky-and-bt-with-streaming-deal

Give it a few more years and maybe going to watch a game in person will gain retro appeal.

Best not to schedule fixtures to clash with the live streams, but how easy is that going to be!

There only showing all 10 games on Boxing Day and the first set of midweek fixtures. Can’t see many people paying £7.99 a month to potentially only watch a couple of games as most of them will be on at the same time

Which is why - if you were inclined to want to watch these games - you'd cancel your membership again after these games, if that's what you wanted and nothing more.

Or just find another way of watching, if you cared enough to do so...

It's their global domination that's spreading out in multiple directions like a destructive lava flow eating up up everything in it's path. It pays poor wages, workers have poor conditions, this has a knock on effect too with other organisations going down that same path. Do they pay their taxes? Do they conribute towards rainforest deforestation? Dunno, but taking over footy matches is the final straw... quarters and all those other yank advertising abhorations will come too, you see. They're probs behind the VAR for it's advertising opportunities.  :mad: :mad: :mad:

I've seen no indication from Amazon that these games will form part of their Prime offering, but that's not to say that they won't.

They will possibly be PPV.

They've said they'll be free to Prime, I saw earlier on social media.

Though that's the same thing as saying Premier League games on Sky Sports are free to view for Sky Sports subscribers...  :laugh:

Just dipping their toe in the water to see if they want to make a big splash.

I think all Prem and Championship games will be live streamed on demand in the near future.

Not saying this is a good thing btw....it is just the direction of travel.

The question for a club like Rovers is how we are placed to adapt to any such change. How do you maintain your revenue streams if the predators are circling to pinch them off you?

What the f**k are you on you weirdo. I’ve not seen what Amazon have or haven’t said. It’s possible that it can be on prime and PPV, I don’t know if it wil or won’t be. I don’t give a f**k really either.

All EFL games will be available to be streamed as of next season, so long as it's not a 3pm Saturday kick off.
