Just had an email which suggests that we have turned down an offer from Bradford City for Bogle. No further information at the moment. Anyone else aware of this?

If we can get another striker in as well as a loan then let him go and good luck to him but if not given our injuries would it be wise to let a body go in a position we are short in.

He’s only got six months left and would get his (probably sizeable) wages off our books. So either we don’t have anyone lined up to replace him, or they were proposing we shared his wages for rest of season!

valuation , freeing up his wages would allow us to sign someone else for sure

Would be daft if no replacement.

Wasn’t he offered to Bradford City on loan in the last window as well?

Wouldn’t it be ironic if he wanted to go and we didn’t let him.
Personally I think he can do a good job for us in the coming months.

Given Dodoo or Agard seem to be wider players, Bogle is the only genuine central striker we have. Don't think we can let him go, even if we got a loanee in to play central.

He's contributing to the team at the moment so unless we get a loanee in before letting him go it wouldn't make sense.

I thought we were trying to convince a loan striker to join us?

We are still in the market for a striker on loan.

There was a link before, and apparently he turned down the move.

It's a Twitter rumour I've seen on one of those clickbait accounts - the ones that pull players and clubs out of a hat and makes up stories. I doubt there's much in this, or that we'd hold onto a player who is almost certainly on his way at the end of the season anyway when we could free up his wages and get a decent option in.

Bogle can be important in the coming months, to let him go we would then need two strikers in the window, unlikely, we would only weaken our squad. He’s been pretty decent since he’s been given the opportunity. He’s an awkward player to play against when he’s in the mood.

An email from who ?

It was a personal email. I’m part of a group of Rovers’ exiles that receive regular updates on anything and everything regarding the Rovers! Can’t praise it too highly!

Good lad.

Suspect it would be more of a ‘BOOM!’ than a ping!

The loans we had lined up were on loan at other clubs - like the new lad Martin, I suspect it may have been TJJ, but SW have him now.

I have nothing to back that up, just putting a few things together. I know Arsenal we’re not happy with his time at Blackpool, and let them know just before Christmas.

We need a fox in the box, Agard mag be that person yet, too early to tell, but a young loanee to help wouldn’t go amiss.
