The Club has to be fair to the released players, in my view, and put them \"out there\" as soon as possible so they have a chance of getting picked up by other clubs.

Most of those out pf contract are free agents after 1st June anyway, I think.  Oster needs giving a 2 year deal as a minimum.

I think most clubs generally show players released straight after the end of the season.

As said, it might be the June 1st date that see's them officially out of contract. I think some will know now if they are not to be offered a new contract. Some will be haggling/negotiating a new contract and terms, where DRFC hold the power. Some will be offered new contracts, where the player may have a little power.

God, we need to start getting contracts offered. Although I reckon if we bring in a keeper then we could stay up with that team. Just hope we don't get any injuries.

I think Chambers and Fairhurst are also out of contract. Someone posted a pretty comprehensive list the other week of who expires when.
