Strong team. DFP said James and Halliday were doubtful but at least Halliday made it.

Very strong line up.. one I would be happy to see starting any league one fixture.

Strong looking team, not a great bench but with the new loan signings plus those missing tonight will soon rectify that.

Got sound, no picture!

Good starting eleven.

I hope we can get the game won earlyish as i dont thing that DM will want to keep some of the players on for more than an hour or so and as someone else said, the bench is a bit weak.

Playing 4-3-3?

Looks like a midfield of Gomes-Whiteman-Richards

CJ looking a bit wobbly at left back.

What's happening? Anything?

Anything to shout about? DFP says we've just started to play a bit. Half chances from corners?

We are slowly stepping it up but still nothing really happened

Nothing of note. We've had most of the attacks but not getting shots off. Jones hasn't had much to deal with either.

Hopefully we can win this all about the money and the confidence that winning brings

Poor first half. Passing all over the place. Only Taylor looking dangerous in spurts!

HT. Rovers doing ok but not enough.
Every player looks to be aware of what is expected of them.
For me, Taylor, Whiteman and Gomes are the most likely to create a breakthrough.
Fej looks every inch the centre forward we have been lacking.

Taylors pulling their defence all over the place but has been a bit greedy at times.

Poor first half. Passing all over the place. Only Taylor looking dangerous in spurts!

We weren’t brilliant but I would say we are a couple of levels above “poor”.

How many shots have Bradford stopped by blocking.? I reckon about 6 or 7.

We need that bit of quality to unlock their defence, but the 2 or 3 times we have done that, the flag has gone up for offside.  Taylor is causing all sorts of problems and Copps, Whiteman, Wright etc playing well.

Don’t forget this is only the second competitive fixture in 6 months, so I don’t know what you expect.?

Poor, no not quite.

Okenabirhie is possibly the player I wished Marquis was.

What, has he scored 60 plus goals in 3 seasons?

He's a great hold-up player, but I doubt he'll score the amount of goals Marquis did. I doubt any of our players will.

We have had shots at goal. Blocked shots by defenders aren't counted in the stats.

The live score app table has us on 3pts with a plus 3 GD?  All the other games that ended in pens have taken the pens score as proper goal difference and awarded the winner 3 pts and the loser nil? Have I missed something?
Title: Re: Rovers v Bradford
Post by: drfchound on September 08, 2020, 10:23:30 pm
More likely that the APP is wrong Adam.

Think so hound, on another app, it showed us as having 2 points, and Bradford 1, as I was expecting...
