How many points from those games? I'm going for 1.
-
I think we should go for 24.
-
I’m not usually negative but to be totally honest I can’t see us winning another game this season. We have no confidence, structure, organisation or, it seems, b*llocks to go out and grab a game by the short and curlies and win it! I’m just glad we’re safe from relegation or it really would be squeaky bum time! Let’s hope we can get someone in to turn it around before we kick off next august or it might be a long season next year. :rtid:

13

Maybe a couple of draws...
-
Zero points, this lot have thrown the towel in, they need to be thankful fans are not in the stadium, the atmosphere would be hostile to this bone idle work shy bunch of frauds
-
We need 7 for the playoffs. so I go for win all 8
-
Before the Wigan game I said that we might manage six points from our nine games but I think I was being a little over ambitious.
-
Be a good time to blood some of the younger players see what they're capable of. I'd just like to see a bit of fight and desire and players playing for the shirt.

I suggested this a couple of games ago.
We aren’t going up or being relegated so it is a chance to give some players a chance to show what they are made of.
It can’t be any worse than what we are seeing just now.
-
We said exactly the same thing yesterday. At least the younger lads might at least look interested.
-
Anyone who is not going to feature next season, tell them to stay at home. Give the kids a run out. Nothing to lose. Except perhaps a few quid for final league position.

We don't even need 7 wins - that would give us 78 points - and nobody (finishing in 6th place in this league) has got to within 4 of that over the last 9/10 years.
There has been a mixture of 74 points, 73, 72 and 71's and even a 69 in the 14/15 season, when Chesterfield got into 6th. So in theory we could make it with 5 wins, giving us 72 points..... but 6 wins (or even 5 wins and 1 or 2 draws) would be more than likely enough. We have Burton tonight, followed by Shrewsbury, Accrington, Fleetwood - all of whom are safe and in mid table. Two games with Peterborough - who may be up by the time we meet them, Rochdale, who may already be down, and finally Blackpool, who should already be confirmed in the play-offs and not want injuries...
OK, I'm grasping at straws here..... but stranger things have happened..

I don’t think anything as far fetched as that has happened though mate.

I don't think it is impossible at all. If we could win the next couple, we might just get a bit of ambition and momentum - and with winnable games to follow in the next two it could easily be achievable.....didn't we win 9 out of 10 earlier this season..?

But we don't do end of season good runs.

Its not what we would want to go for Jonathon it’s what this lazy set of bar stewards want to go for. Unless they change there attitude then we will get none, but we know they are capable of winning most of them IF THEY WANT TO but they don’t

Bloody hell !
This kind of enthusiasm should be metered out to the team....
-
I’m finally smiling and laughing
-
At this guys optimism we will struggle to score 4 goal let alone get 4 points in last 8 games
-
Ah, the evil drink is at it again I see.
-
A few days ago I said that I thought that six points from our last nine games might be difficult to attain.
Sadly I look like being right.

Adjusting this to 21 now.
-
I'm adjusting my target too. Seeing as we can't win the league now, I'm hoping Peterborough only get one point from their last six games, and all the teams between them and us fall by the wayside so that we take second spot.
Mind you that is all dependant on us winning our last seven remaining games.

The straws have sadly slipped a little further away from my grasp..... :crying: but there's still a chance eh.....?:facepalm:
Still, on a brighter note.... it looks like we'll get the chance to welcome DM to the Keepmoat next season - his role as the saviour of Sheff Wed seems to have gone completely TU also..... so he has managed to fook two clubs over this season.
-
He's only copying Dave Cusack who took us and Rotherham down in the same season.
