Didn't we lose to some non league team 6-0 under SOD?

We'll have more of an idea on Saturday. I personally couldn't care less about the result of a League Cup match. All I hope for is that we play well, and avoid an embarrassing tonking.

I remember us drawing with top division Burnley and Leeds and then going down.🙁
Think that was 70/71 season wasn’t it ?
We drew 2-2 with Burnley and lost 2-1 to Leeds. We did however beat an Arsenal XI 5-0.

Think that was Havant & Waterlooville in the Joma Cup competition in Devon. We threw that game because they changed the competition rules midway through the competition re the number of subs a team could use.

I can remember about that time playing Leeds in a pre-season friendly. They turned the full Revie side out, and 15000 fans turned up, but we didn't draw. They beat us either 2-0, or 2-1.

The Leeds fans kicked f*ck out of the Donny fans during the game.

Not having a good day today, Yes that's it. I thought we would have a good season because we looked good in the friendlies.
Arsenal had a very young Pat Rice playing that day when we beat them

yes they did and it was engineered so they could go home believe it or not.  It was in the Devon tournament a pre-season one as such, but the FA stepped in and said we could only play 3 subs, and with it being a friendly we needed to play a squad, all through the last game they were prattling about and laughing about the goals, but it was so embarrassing as a fan being there
