£20 family ticket for Blackpool game!
« on February 13, 2012, 04:13:24 pm by DonnyRTID »
Apparently there's a voucher available on facebook, to get 2 adults & 2 kids into the game for £20. Excellent offer but surely it should be on dros & twitter too!!!

My point was, it's not very well publicised, not everyone goes on facebook!!!

One day before the game, plenty of notice to get tickets and get the whole family down, well done marketing...

Can it be used at the ticket office right up until kick off?

And more to the point - why has it been announced a little over 24 hours before the fixture. I despair sometimes really.

Yes you can. And for those that have not got access to the voucher or a printer if you want to come to my shop I will happily print one off for you.
The Frame Warehouse 32 Mill St Armthorpe.

I know its easy to be critical of the club, but maybe this is the club thinking on its feet for a change. Just maybe they reacted to poor sales over the last few days, uncertainty of the game being played, poor weather etc, and used Facebook to make a quick decision and get the news out there faster than the traditional means!

May be they thought the match would win over 'true love' on Valentines. At least they are thinking again. Note Simon Gillett is promoting the offer and DROS now.

What's the point in the voucher ? Why not just let people buy a family ticket at £20 ?

This is really exceptional value. Well done Rovers, this is dirt cheap.

Good offer. However, I think the crowd tonight could be low. I dont think it is the best idea playing on Valentines day. Not sure why we couldnt have moved it back 24 hours. It doesnt bother me but my mate's lad wont be going as he is taking the gf out.

Lets hope the lack of football will keep the attendance up.

It is if people know about it. I'm guessing they won't sell many.

I think we need to have another chat about Rovers' database marketing......a long time ago we asked that offers were emailed on Mondays before a weekend game, with a follow-up on a Thursday...so folk had time to plan for any specials etc.....

I also wonder just how reliable /up to date the dbase is....and how much overlap there is with our registered forum users.
Its a big task to sort...but something we really need to pursue.

Another promise that just went by the wayside, hoping that no one would notice, they are stealing their wages!

I was emailed this offer by the club, if people register on the club's database it doesn't matter if you are on facebook or not
