Hes got the goals for us but I don't feel too disappointed that he is leaving compared to when Sharp went. He will get goals for Pompey this season and I think they will win the league but I think he will struggle to make the step up to the championship.
With the money we get we should be able to strengthen the squad well but we will need a good 6/7 players in my opinion.

My hope is we've deals lined up that are of a quality where we need the Marquis money to afford them, so rather than sign what our budget would allow we waited till we had this extra money to get some real quality. obviously the manager been fairly new in didn't help.

We must have some surplus in our wage bill to sign player now though looking at whose left and what's come in plus Marquis looks 99% done. Just wonder if all the best free agents will be gone now

I’ve not heard anything from the club regarding this, just reading a lot of opinions that are pretty flimsy at best....

Are none of you’s actually taking into consideration that DM might actually think this team is strong enough?

Your problem is that you don’t step back and enjoy the pre season turmoil,
What can you actually do about any of the current events surrounding DRFC? ..........absolutely nothing!, Nadda,zilch.....so in effect you are seeking like-minded moaners, to moan with ....
