Is wikip3dia accurate, or is it possible so one has created  this as disinformation?

Not sure Normal. I think we can be fairly confident though.

Lol Carntley!

I have no idea if Will Grigg is what the Rovers need or ven if he is what the Rovers want. My contribution is offered on the basis that anything, anything, is better than continuing with nothing at all!

It's the pond we are fishing in, so let's hope we've thrown in a sprat to catch a mackerel ... or whatever Eric Cantona actually said.

Wikipedia means absolutely nothing folks, sorry to burst your bubble. Anyone can edit it, a Rovers fan likely edited that and they didn't even do it properly - didn't create the right link nor did they put it in the right line to show he had moved from Sunderland.

So in short, do not take Wikipedia as a source. Not even for a moment.

The Northern Echo has an article this morning saying we are still at front of queue for Grigg but MK Dons are also interested, following his decent loan spell there.

Helpfully the Sunderland manager is keen to bring in a new striker apparently and needs to shift out Grigg to make this happen. Sounds familiar.

No striker exists that ALL the fans would support!
Either too old, too young, not quick enough, too static, injury prone, looks lazy, can’t finish, doesn’t hold the ball up,

I dare say we don’t get the bestest strikers because we don’t frickin deserve em!
The board could make 2 million available for a striker, and the dicks on this forum and every other Donny related media Dogshit site would disagree totally with any decision that wasn’t their own…..

I will walk round the ground with the blanket Cantley Rover. You can have one corner I will have another. We need 2 more recruits.
Oh and yes count me in for £2 a week.  :scarf:

Please note Sha66y I was the first moaner, but I've read all the points in favour and have been talked round. I agree that as we are not in the market for superstars, we will usually getting someone else's reject and then it's up to the manager to make the most of them. I really hope this one comes off, if only for the song!

Sorry CantleyRed not Rover.

When I want to make a change sometimes it comes up in red message that the “message box is empty” and will not alter.

Anyone know what all that is about please?

Wasn't something similar proposed to sign Billy Sharp? Sharpshooter fund? What happened with that in the end?

Having read the Sunderland thread on him we might not need to pay £2 each. Apparently they’re willing to all chuck in £20 each to send him our way. If they follow through then he’s a free signing. Who doesn’t like free?  :)

He has been described in the safc forum as a limpet. Blessing in disguise perhaps.

You don’t have to be called Tom Dick or Harry to amend it
