Sheffield Star headline

"Blackman to start for Blades at Keepmoat "

Now I know Dee-Dah land int exactly a cosmopolitan melting pot, but I'd have thought they'd have cottoned on to the fact that the multi-ethnic make up of modern Britain is not news.

And yet again, newspapers linking blackman to knife crimes. I thought we'd left that stereotyping behind in the 70s?

I made that headline up by the way. But there was one back in July saying "Blades sign Blackman"

Reminds me of a headline I read in one of the Sunday sports supplements saying "Blackman steals show". Profiling in the media, eh?
