Talking of nuns, at St Peter's in Cantley, I recall two during my time there. Sister Columba and Sister Stanislaus. There was a third, younger one, but for the life of me I can't remember her name.Did you have nuns teaching when you was there?
Only went to yoofy on Chequer Road
The missing nun sister Kevin anyone? As for willby Carr the punch ups were still going on when I left in very late 1980s .When I did notice bcak then that pupils from willby Carr would appear comming out of the woods at the bottom with uniforms on with just as many older lads in normall day clothes who were on the dole bcak then.I can real the names off one by one on here right now .YES Sister Kevin rings a bellRecall when our school team played them at football one Saturday at their place.,only time we ever played them in my time .We won but no fcuker wanted to get weighed down with the kit bag on the way out of willby Carr school throu the play ground as it was touch and go.Noddy smith the headmaster during HTA ( 3 points if you recall what that was ) mentioned our win to all the school as he was as pleased as punch.Anyone recall the teacher that was from Poland I think mr Borris. One disturbing thing I recall seeing in the school bogs when I was in the 1st year, was teeth marks in the bogs soap.WTF was going on there,I put it down to bully's but I would never go into them bogs for a shit as I kept in in what with living just across the road.
Sister slostika and sister dipazi
Reading on another thread that Bally, Hound and NOF went to St Peter's at Cantley, it would be interesting to know how many others went there.I was there around 66-70, starting the year after Keegan left. Prior to that I went to St Francis Xavier's on Balby bridge, also Keegan's previous school. Did anyone go there?

I remember the was a guy called Andrew McFadgen who lived in Cantley in the same class as me and she would pick on him every day. Her and Sister Stanislaus where just nasty bullies...I remember that Sister Columba had a lazy eye, so when she was throwing chalk or a board rubber at someone you never actually new in which direction or kid it was going to hit, always got her mark though. I remember a lot of the teachers, some good others not so good.
She would have been better named Sister Iris.
