2 teams playing believe it or not. Sunderland were very good without the ball. Yes we were a bit rusty after lay off. Some of the comments on here from so called supporters are embarrassing.
Point is a point. I'll just pretend the game didn't happen, it was that bad.
Sunderland stopped us playing stayed in shape stronger our passing wasn’t good sometimes but we scored got a draw. Okenabirhie couldn’t miss but could have scored before that. We were poor but was that because Sunderland set up to stop us playing they were no better going forward than us. Draw for me right result it was not shit it was just not entertaining from both sides.
How we have got a point out of that is beyond me, a more lethargic performance you will struggle to see. Awful performance start to finish.

Did anyone actually complete a pass? Think there was one in the second half.
Halliday man of the match by some distance.EasyforDennis don’t suppose you agree. Whiteman’s passing was way off today and Sims lacked his usual zip. Lokilo hangs on to the ball too long. Needs to get the ball in much quicker. How many fouls were there on him though. Yes we were definitely rusty and Sunderland had a game plan to stop us playing. We got lucky with that penalty shout 1st half. Makes up for last season at Stadium of Light. We kept at it and got a bit of luck. How many times have we outplayed the opposition and lost or drawn. We were due a bit of fortune were we not. That goal & point will lift the lads & expect to see a much more vibrant performance on Tuesday against Blackpool.
