Robert - Part 2

Free Press says Saunders is still keen but a 'lucrative' contract at L'orient is stalling things.

Seems like he's being lined up as a potential replacement for Coppinger though.

Would love him on a season long loan. Offered alot in the championship. Will offer more in league 1.

The only good thing to emerge from last season, and even then he was under-used.

I hope we get him, as we will add quality to the team and will be an investment to help Rovers down the line

....Seems like he's being lined up as a potential replacement for Coppinger though.

This makes sense and would show intelligence. I think it could be pushing the budget too far for us without Copps leaving, but I think it would be a significant cog in a promotion chasing machine, and as Cussy says, a great investment.

For the minute I'll content myself with us not being the Pompey of the North.

1 excellent season in League 1 could be Fabien`s fast track to the Premier League, he has huge potential and a great attitude towards the game. Don`t piss about Deano, get him signed up!

The club loaning the player in usually ends up paying at least part of their wages anyway.
