I had dallied with Quean as well , but last time I looked a word up a few weeks back when totally stuck  search put " today's Wordle solution is ". It was the word in question

So I didn't try Quean just in case lol

I downloaded the Scrabble app a few months ago. I play against the computer at the ‘hard’ level and lose 75% of the time.
My lack of knowledge of obscure 2 and 3 letter words is the difference between winning and losing in many games.
Although i use ‘quern’ to good effect thanks to my addiction to Time Team.

Yes great tfe. I've used same start word without joy and had today's as my next one .... Boom gone !

Mate has very similar Start word to today's . I thought he would get 2 for sure but took 3

Talking of start words Wolfie, as you know I ain't got one, but recently if I can't think of owt original, I've started with ATONE a few times.
