So then who is your favourite turnstyle operator :scarf:
-
Not specifically a turnstile op but the guy in charge of cowshed
-
Nick who turned into head steward at Bell vue he went to Australia and got on the tightest man in Britain used to collect the toilet rolls that got thrown onto the pitch , when did chugging bog rolls onto the pitch die out not seen it in ages been done
-
Nick was my favourite at Belle vue.Think he moved to Aus and ocassionally posts on here?Always a good, quick, retort about Rovers or how we hoping to beat the days/nights opposition.
-
He's still in Oz but he doesn't post on here and he very rarely rings Radio Sheffield any more. Still a Rovers fanatic but hasn't been since Scunny away about 4 years ago when the snow nearly called it off.
-
I'll go for Little Roy from Cantley (RIP) who used to work the turnstiles on the pop side way back in the 70's & 80's. He also used to sell the Green 'un round the pubs too, but that was before my time. He was a really nice, cheerful bloke.

Assuming he's in Perth, he probably thinks b*llocks to getting up in the Early hours of the morning to ring Radio Sheffield

You assume wrongly. He's on the other coast just outside Rockhampton, near Brisbane.
