I personally think this referee deserves a lot of credit for how he refereed the game on Saturday. He didn't play to the Elland Road crowd and played his own game, therefore getting all major decisions correct e.g. It was definitely only a yellow when Sam Johnstone brought down Ross McCormack.

I thought that he gave a steady performance. The bookings were all deserved and he wasn't swayed by the large crowd. He got the important calls right.
