I was just looking at the stats and thinking the same thing, 23 new users this week and only 20 new users in the whole of November and December

Or maybe some of us are genuine rovers fans, season ticket holders since the 70's, alliance members for good measure, who wanted to find out what the gossip is about our next manager and found that the footy mad forum now has less contributors than Jimmy Savilles under 12's fan club??

I was about to say, it's hardly showcasing a welcoming attitude to come out and assume new members are 'FLJs'.

Someone I know signed up to the forum this week, he's certainly not a snooping journo but he is a long-standing Rovers fan.

I must admit, my opening post was a little naughty, and more than a bit tongue in cheek.  I'm now working down the list of members who HAVENT come on to defend their innocence as potential FLJ's.

Only kidding.

Its also great to hear that we have new and returning VSC members this week.  In fact, Lee was only saying the other day that we have had quite a few new members this week, which is brilliant.  The VSC has a strong voice within the club, and swelling our membership ensures that the core Rovers' fanbase views are heard and acted upon.  The IRWT project is really starting to see big gains from little changes, and is the perfect example of the club and fans working together towards a common goal.

I couldn't possibly say but their has been a surge in VSC Membership and a good number (although I haven't counted off the top of my head) of new users are VSC members signing up to the forum and this can only be a sign that we are moving in the right direction and reaching out to more and more people. What we have achieved, especially as acting as the voice for the fans in the last week wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for our membership  and the greater our membership the much more representative we become of the fan base as a whole which is why I strongly suggest as many Rovers fans become a member as possible.

Last year I joined the VSC and signed up for the automatic annual renewal, during that time however I went out and got drunk (just the once I promise)      lost my wallet so cancelled my bank cards and as such the automatic renewal did not take place.

Anyway, after hearing so many more brothers of the red and white cloth have just joined so have I.
