Agree. For them to deliver in their first game, and lets be honest away at Stevenage was never going to be an easy start for them! They deserve full credit.

Excellent

Disagree completely. It's no long term solution. It might work short term, but long term is a different story.

Would rather have Jones concentrating on being a captain and star centre half without having assistant manager on his plate as well. It came off today but I agree it's not a long term solution. One admittedly good result shouldn't make or break them.

Doesn't need to be a long term solution.
Get us up then appoint someone new

But then if we were promoted, wouldn't that pretty much make the board's decision for them? I wouldn't mind having Flynn as manager, I'd just prefer not overloading Jones with responsibility, he has enough as it is.

I don't think his role would change too much, he was terrific again today.
Flynn might not want it full time, but might be happy until end of season

Think the team have got a great togetherness & camaraderie between them and great respect for Rob Jones some1 from the outside may come in and upset the apple cart so 2 speak another win or 2 and no need 2 look anywhere else in my opinion

Flynn says he'd love the job, but hasn't applied. Which to me means he's got it until the end of the season at least.

I couldn't agree more , let the captain worry about on the pitch matters only. Another 'knee jerk' reaction and suggestion based on 1 result.
We need to be thinking ahead to the Championship and the extra demands, abilities, connections et al that will be required of any future manager.

I may have been a little excitable at the late winner, but unless we get Robins (can't see it myself) who else are we going to get? If it ain't broke don't fix it

It makes sense to give the job to Flynn till the end of the season,we won't have as much choice of potential candidates now,as we would in the summer,Brian and Rob know the way the squad operates, the strengths and weaknesses of each player,a new manager might come in and change things and it could all go wrong, little alterations could cost points we can't afford to lose,it's too tight a league to play around, give them the job.
