Post by: monkeytennis on September 18, 2021, 03:54:49 pm: Not great watching so far. They’re much faster and more effective at getting the ball forward than Rovers. We’ve had our skin saved by Pontious twice after they’ve played straight through.

Feels like the Rovers players are all playing to a different plan from one another.

Vilca had hardly had a touch.

It feels like Rovers lack self belief to me. Way too hesitant. Standing still with the ball. Dithering about instead of making positive attacking moves.

Anderson was clearly shoved in the back by their forward , so he could get his shot away.

Did get away with not having a pen awarded against us when PD rugby tackled their player. But after a number of poor decisions against us recently will take it.
