Donnys own Kevin Keegan 69 today
Beat me into the world by a few days and obviously got all the looks going at the time AND the footballing ability that was on offer
I got the ability to ...... mmmm cant remember  :lol:

Keegans autobiography is a cracker. I’d love to know how close he came to managing the Rovers. Fairly close if the rumours were true at the time.

I spoke to Glynn Snodin recently. He's having real problems with his blood pressure. Systolic well over 200 and was told he could die if he kept running around football pitches.
He's on 4 different meds to try and control it.

That was after Dave Penney left, wasn't it? I recall people were expecting Keegan, and were very underwhelmed when we appointed SO'D (although that worked out pretty well!)

It was great but I was disappointed he didnt mention Armthorpes 3-3 draw v Stainforth in 62 (probably) and in particular the superb through ball from Stainforths right half which split their defence and led to one of those three goals  :(
