Lads there were 2000 empty seats when we played Southend in the play off semis at the Keepmoat.

Glass houses come to mind.

He also made the comment that he'd have taken "a point" if offered it before the game. Think someone ought to let him know the season has finished.

In a far bigger stadium, they should be filling the bus shelters

Doesn't matter how many are in the stand it's the 11 blokes on the pitch who count.

Well Rotherham have banged on about how well supported they are. The return leg they made less tickets available for Scunthorpe however they couldn’t sell them and have given them more

When it comes to crowds to population of the town we are hands down probably one the worst in the football league

Scunthorpe's home gates attract a higher percentage of its population that mighty L**ds does.

Not really. There’s a misconception about the borough population and the towns actual population. Based on the ‘urban area’ population we are probably higher than most

You can use population figures to suit an argument. The fact is Doncaster MBC population is 303.000
The urban area is less than 1/3 of that figure.
As far as I am concerned outlying areas to the North, East, South & West such as  Askern, Thorne, Bawtry & Conisborough etc etc etc are all part of Doncaster.

Not enough people live in Campsall to matter. Even Wikipedia doesn't list any number.    LOL

Genuinely didn't even know the place existed until Campsall rover started posting and even then I had no idea it was near or a part of Doncaster...

Tinpot? I'm sure the kids of abroad are always arguing in the streets over the prospects of the clubs they support, be it Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid or Donny Rovers. Face it, we're all tinpot according to many of the fans of the big clubs. I've never got this talk over how many fans come up to watch. It's only shared experience; footy would be boring if based on attendances.

Included in the Askern region.
Population of Campsall must be over 2,000 now.

I haven't lived in Donny for the past 40-odd years but I have fond memories of the Old Bells at Campsall during my courting days as a teenager.
Is the pub still going I wonder?

Scunny's attendances are never amazing anyway.

In some midweek games they don't even get into the 4,000s.

Thankfully though, attendances don't mean that much in relation to what happens on the pitch. If they did, Leeds United wouldn't have spent the last 14 seasons outside the Premier League.

And here's you boosting Rotherhams.

Photo of you on Facebook doing the rounds at the moment in the home end at Rotherham last night.

The urban area doesn't include Bentley and that certainly is in Doncaster
