Been suspended by Brighton. Is it too late to add him to the next manager rumours list. Funny old game football

Why's he been suspended?

The Uruguayan is under contract until 2016 but he has made no secret of his ambition to manage in the Premier League in the past, although he turned down a chance to take over at Reading earlier this season.

Disagreements over budgets according to "sky sources" Backroom staff have been suspended as well, plus Poyet has been told not to contact the players

Doesn't surprise me. Brighton are losing 8million per year and over 100million in debt. Accident waiting to happen.

I wonder if this season was shit or bust for them. Could start to see them falling away now.

I know it frustrates a few rovers fans when the board won't "push the boat out" but thank the lord for common sense and good housekeeping at DRFC

No chance of him coming here, he's destined to get clogging in the prem.

Had a little bet on him to be new Everton manager yesterday at 12/1 so I'm hoping! However, I didn't realise Fulham were looking for a manager until I read GazLaz's post! I was hopeful for a full 60 seconds!! Now I see he's odds on to go to Fulham!! That'll teach me to bet on this manager go round bullsh*t!!  :headbang:

Where've you got these figures from? Alarming if true, and I'd be surprised with the increase in fan revenue they'll have brought in since moving to the Amex.

I think Poyet is heading to Everton or Fulham.

Thank you for that, not a very sustainable business model really! Not sure about the £100million debt you mooted, not seeing that in the article but yes, losing £8million is a bad sign and maybe Poyet can see what may be about to happen there.

Won't happen anyway but I wouldn't want him here. Hes wanting a move to a prem club but going about it in the complete wrong way. Too bigger ego. Very tactically naive too at times as seen on Monday

He's royally fu^*ked off the Seagull fraternity. They're really pissed at him. I've been having txts about it for days now. 'Greedy t**t,' 'no brain', 'dodgy decision making' and the usual actual insults galore. It seems as if he didn't engage brain before opening his gob on tv after they lost to Palace.

I wouldn't fancy him here at all. Not that he'd come here in a zillion years.

It sounded like he threw his dummy out big time after the other night. Big time Charlie and like di canio, overrated!

Used to like him but lost all respect for him after last season's game at the Amex. Nasty.

I've heard rumours from the locals here that somethings gone off behind the scenes last weekend.  So after the first leg, but before the second leg.  Could be reasons as to why the dodgy interview anyway
