I reckon Blackpool to join Barnsley and Yeovil.

Not sure why, just can't see them stopping the rot any time soon.

IMHO Millwall, Barnsley and Yeovil will be relegated and Blackpool will be fourth bottom.  rovers will be 5th bottom.  No science involved just my assessment of remaining games.

Charlton should be safe by then and have nothing to play for.

Think it's on the cards that the game against charlton which was called off is going to come back and bite us!

Is there some sort of bet going on that I don't know about? Does everyone have to write this at least once this season?

I agree, but I'm a bit nervous about that final game of theirs, because I can see Charlton being safe by then.

I still think one win will do it for us, but I was saying that over a week ago. One win from seven didn't sound as daunting as one from four.

I think we need three points as I think Blackpool are in dire straights. But if they go into their last home game against Charlton wanting a win to leapfrog us, they will be up for it.

A win at Millwall will be enough and I fancy us to win that one.

The big thing for me that we as fans can do, is try not to pass our nervousness over to the team, we have to stay positive, even if things are going against us, and start by giving them our 100% backing on Friday from start to finish, regardless

I agree, I think last game of season there will be lots of moving around where we're safe then in the zone then the safe again. Just got to look at yesterday as an example been so close to 5 points clear to 3 points, pretty much in a blink of an eye.

As long as it finishes with us safe I don't mind how it goes.

Scenario by my reckoning:

Doncaster will relegate Millwall by winning on Monday (and I think secure Championship safety at the same time) if all of the below happen within the next week:
  • We pick up 1 point or more vs Derby on Friday;
  • Charlton beat any two of Barnsley, Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday;
  • Blackpool beat Brighton and Burnley;
  • Birmingham beat either Nottingham Forest or Blackburn - the goal difference is massive and isn't going to be caught;
  • And Millwall lose at Middlesbrough on Saturday

It's anybody's guess what the outcomes of these games are going to be, but I think all have a pretty strong chance with the exception of Blackpool, who will on current form pick up 0 points.

Also quite conceivable - with our record of the last ten years in games like this - that we'll lose at Millwall.  :chair: (but then get the right results in the other three games)

Worth giving this a bump again.

I can now see Barnsley getting to 45 points, which makes another win for us all the more imperative.

Make no bones about it, we look most likely of picking up least points of the sides at the bottom. Blackpool might run us close for that unwanted accolade.

I think it's still worth throwing Birmingham into the mix. OK, they've got a game in hand, a much easier run-in and a goal difference that's worth at least half a point. But they have a shocking home record and have to play three of their five games at home. One more win and they're safe but until they get that, we have to count them as a factor.

Bottom line for us is that if we don't pick up any more points we WILL be relegated.

End of the day, the balls in our court and if we do mess it up we don't deserve to be in the league, we must not lose on Monday!

I fancy us to get something at Leicester!

OK, its their party (a bit like Wolves the other year), but if we go into it 100% I dont think they will be doing the same.  Having won the title at a canter I cant see any of their players firing in on a 50/50 with Wellens or Keegan and risking an ankle injury when they should be on the beach.

0-1 to the Rovers!!!  COME ON!!!!!

So you expect us to achieve something, Sammy, that we have failed to do all season? Win 3 games on the bounce? We've only managed to win two on the bounce once so far. And we've only managed 4 games undefeated twice too - and most of those were draws.

Impressive loyalty.

Sammy lad. *I* am the resident optimist round here. And even *I* don't think we're going to get 8-10 points from the last 4 games.

10/10 for positivity. But I fear for you in the real world spadge.
