Lawlor

How good was he today?
Outstanding saves where he put his body on the line and prevented at least 3 goals at vital moments that certainly helped our victory.

The penalty box our end has to be the most uneven I've seen, nothing like flat.

Was he not aiming for the green bit between the Stands ?

imo a Keeper I personally have faith in. Man City must have had faith and I have too - and can go "legend" as we move onwards / upwards.

Not surprised he ran away with the recent Poll "Who is our best Keeper" getting 75 % of the votes cast

Great saves but needs to work on his kicking otherwise his distribution is sound. In a way he reminds me of the great Peter Bennetti  ( some might remember him ).

Shaping up to be a really great keeper once he cuts out some of the untidy parts of his game .

Well we have had Kit Lawlor

So why not "Cat" Lawlor too ?

Peter Phillip Bonetti (born 27 September 1941 in Putney, London) is a former football goalkeeper for Chelsea, the St. Louis Stars, Dundee United and England. Bonetti was known for his safe handling, lightning reflexes and his graceful style, for which he was given the nickname, "The Cat".

Different level. Best player outside the championship for me.

i was not having a go at him at all, and yes he is supposed to aim between the stands but to be fare the first 10-15 min he could not do that and Ferguson was having a right go at him for it, but after that period he had a blinder

No - I did not mean you were.

I stupidly dropped in an in joke but if you dont sit where I do you wont have heard me shout it

Whenever Sulli Woods Ben Smith and others kicked the ball into touch I used to shout " Aim for the green bit between the Stands" and so my Seat buddies are awaiting this comment about Lawlor coming soon. I have let him off twice as he got terrible back passes and was under pressure

I think he is Number 1 -  will be a great for us in the long run. Cat Lawlor indeed

I thought Gary Woods was 'The Cat', because every time the ball went near him everybody had kittens...

Oh Lord... Now he really was a goalscorer. Has there ever been anyone better? Anywhere? Anywhen?
