Perhaps we should give them a rendition of "Only a Pub Team Having a Laugh".   Where have the press and TV been in the last five years, Except to ignore, belittle and continually get facts wrong. Two things I hope to witness today is a very comprehensive big win and a good rendition....."I actually remember Peter Taylor labelling us that on Sky Sports with his mate Jeff Stelling" What goes around etc...i

A few on this site have said that sometime soon we are going to put a team to the sword and score loads of goals, we have been doing this i know, but im talking Lots of goals 5+ or more? I feel today is a good day to beat the 5-1 at their place. COYR
Yes i know 5+ is more, but im getting exited about this one and my head has been won over by my heart.

My 4 year old has said that we will score 10 today. Would be great if we did

I just added this to the Morecambe thread but worth a post on here too I suppose :

Hope this is not the dreaded "banana skin" game - similar to Scunny on Boxing Day where we as Fans turned up and just "expected" a routine win !

Sure the Manager will have the Players fired up though and the Players will not fall into the trap because if MFC are in danger of folding those Players are maybe demoralised but will realise they are individually in the "shop window" and doubtless there will be Reps from many Clubs "circling like Vultures" just in case

I have resisted a Bet today other than the Fiver on us at 40/1 for 100 Points and a Hundred goals ... so today we could get a hat-full and head towards the 100 goals but I have a long memory and I am a bit "fey" today !

Well I for one would welcome that as I missed the 10-0 Darlo Game when I COULD have seen it. I will drive carefully today and avoid all contentious situations just in case (but my other just in case is directly above)

He was in the south stand at the very first Keepmoat game when we beat Huddersfield.

They showed a shot of mud puddles and barbed wire to open the 2 minute cameo on Rovers and closed it with a remark from LAWRENSON that DF would probably be hoping to get a bigger club before swiftly moving to how well that other South Yorkshire club were doing !

Just focused on Ferguson and Strachan and their dad's are more famous. Pretty standard filler shit from Clem.

Clem seemed very poor to me, no preparation at all, probably thought he could just wing it, liked it though when Fergie said 'glad you've come all this way for that'

Football Focus these days is just full of boring ramblings and very little action. Talk b*llocks would be a more fitting name.

A friend once told me of a Chelsea-supporting acquaintance who used to talk about  "the curse of Football Focus." He reckoned when a team was featured they usually failed to win on that weekend. Maybe there's some truth in it...

Never forgiven Lawrenson for saying 'thank heaven for Donny Rovers'  when they were having a love in over Brightons plight the year we went down

Total waste of time. A complete non feature. Talked more about their dad's than Rovers.

.... AND when it was suggested that South Yorkshire were doing well this Season he said yep Scunny for a start !

Tbf I tuned in to footy focus for the first time in a long time while I was busy doing some stuff on the laptop for work. I was oblivious to the fact we were being featured and, whilst the coverage wasn't amazing, it was a nice surprise to see them mentioning us!
