A 4 for me too after a worrying start and a long think after row 3.

Really like Nixon very skilful player, he always looked like he was knackered but kept going

I agree. Grant seemed to go off him for some reason but from what I’ve seen he’s been a solid player for us. We’ve had some average ones in recent seasons (and that’s being kind).

The cliche view is usually he doesn’t offer enough going forward (all teams need a Kyle Walker now apparently) but he’s not had much chance to show us that side of his game. I liked Maxwell straight away when he joined and he’s developed into an outstanding player.

I trust Grant though so if we upgrade then fair enough.

The achievements of O’Driscoll and Penney will always stand up for themselves. But I have never known a manager forge the connection with the fans that McCann has. It’s a real talent and he must feel the love here. It’s not just a catchy song, it’s a movement.

He's very clever isn't he. He makes us feel like we're a big part of HIS team.
Always mentions the fans, especially when we've traveled miles to watch.
What SOD did was special but he never really connected with the fans, he didn't seem to have the need to.
But I believe GM feels that connection.
I think he felt it away at Hull.
I hope grant wants to become a legend here before he moves onto bigger things. I believe that he thinks he owes us a promotion. And he will deliver, I've got no doubts about that.

I was thinking about this other day and I think he wants to get us to the championship. As much for the club as personal. It seems he feels he owes us one but also what would that do for his and cliffs CV. Then if he gets us up there and a new owner comes in who knows? Ive no issues with TB and I am extremely thankful for the backing he us giving but there is a plan for him to raise the stock and sell, he has been quite open about this. Just want to say raising the stock is not about TB making money but leaving the club in a good position.

Look at Brentford, Luton, Huddersfield etc.

Luton L2 2018
Luton Prem 2023

It reminds me of Robins going back to Cov.

Surprised by the criticism of Sterry. Starting right back for our 10 game winning run. What's our PPG with/without him.

I think he's looked pretty good. Admittedly can get caught out at times but he's a league two right back at the end of the day. Think centre mid and wingers are our biggest pain points this summer, assuming Mols and Hak don't re-sign. Obv no chance with Craig.

That's how many were there on Friday night, given the smaller away section afforded Crewe.

Surely that's the most Rovers fans that have been in the Keepmoat/Eco-Power for a game since it opened?

Which in turn, by my reckoning, would make it the biggest attendance of Rovers fans for a game – aside from the finals at Wembley and Cardiff – since the Liverpool FA Cup replay in 1974.
Definitely the 70s but probably the match v Derby County in August 76 when just under 15000 were in Belle Vue that evening.
