Dont be so hyperbolic Hound. Nobody has said we are going down an abyss. What was said is that the choice the government has made is neither supported by those involved, including the medical profession, nor sensible given the causal locus of the of the current lockdown. Nobody menrtioned the word 'abyss'. Nobody said we are heading for any kind of disaster. What was said is that this is the stupidest solution available and it is the one that carries the highest risk. That being so, one is bound to wonder exactly why such a choice was made! Given the awe inspiring record of contract corruption this government has persistently displayed, one can but surmise....

Bob, I may have used a word that is a little too strong perhaps but you just wait until Easter time when certain posters will be telling us how many thousands of people have died as a result of schools going back too early.
That scenario has already been suggested.
I would say that is someone saying we are heading for some kind of disaster.
