Working Tax Credits
« on March 31, 2013, 02:41:25 pm by roverstillidie91 »
I'm 21, first ever full time job after a few temporary jobs, its an apprenticeship so on a pretty low income. I also have another but it is as and when required. I work minimum 37 hours. Can i claim for it? And how much would I get. Plus can I claim for backpay?

Thanks

Pretty much sure you have missed the boat on that one. Everything is changing you can check it out on here..
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/start/who-qualifies/workingtaxcredit/index.htm

Looking at it you have to be 25 to claim.. for now, if universal credit does come into force however tax credits as they stand will no longer exist.  :(

sorry to be a downer..
Congrats on the job tho  :)
