Yes but if results don't change when all the aces are back in the squad then questions need asking

Yes, he has made a decision about a new approach with the players and lets see how it goes.

Sadly I can't help but lean towards \"No\". I feel bad saying it as I've been a fan of the guy (even in L1 when I was in a minority) but this run has been slowly wearing me down. I just cannot see a way out of this as things are, not this time. The players just aren't playing for him like in previous bad spells and the team is so predictable and easy to beat it's untrue.

I've also been giving away matches a miss since Derby when I questioned why I was spending £40 (inc. travel) in exchange for almost certain misery, frustration and disappointment. I really am struggling to find a reason to make the effort for away games in recent months which is a shame as I'm normally up for a good away game.

I can accept that a club like ours will always struggle in the 2nd tier and that relegation is always a possibility. However unlike in good number games so far I do want to see ALL the players make a decent fist of it AS A TEAM and try to give the fans something to cheer, whether we're destined for relegation or not. I don't think that's too much to expect but I'm not seeing that so far and don't see anything changing for the next game despite all the fighting talk which we've heard before.

Yes.  I think he can turn it around and he needs longer.

We're only just into the season really.  I don't give a monkeys about this haven't won a game since March b*llocks. Quite a few players have gone and come in since then and the new players are still bedding in.  Look forwards not backwards.

And that makes it 57-9, 86% Yes, 14% No.

Surprised and heartened by the numbers voting 'yes'.

It's a small cross section of the support granted, but if DROS picked up on this small poll in some way, it could act as a positive signal to both manager and backroom staff...a rallying cry for Saturday...and also be seen as a kick up the backside for those not pulling their weight in the squad (if any of them aren't).

Now if we can just scrape a bleedin' win on Saturday...

I think the comments made on saturday were out of frustration. Manager always the one in the firing line.

Yes btw to the initial question.

I'm very encouraged by the yes's on here. It's nice to no we're still a club/fan base that respects what we've got (and where we've come from).

Does anyone think a 90 minute rendition of \"Sean O Driscoll Barmy Army\" this Saturday to blow away any doubts?

For it to work we all need to be together in one section of the ground. Iknow its been done to death but it needs to happen. A proper singing section.

Yes. It's the backing of him that's in question and always has been.

He's been backed now...just not necessarily with more cash.  Nice to see JR get another little dig at our South Yorks neighbours in when he has an opportunity!

Doncaster Rovers chairman backs manager Sean O'Driscoll
Sean O'Driscoll
O'Driscoll joined Doncaster from Bournemouth in September 2006

Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan has backed manager Sean O'Driscoll to turn around the club's poor start.

Rovers are still seeking their first league win of the season and are currently bottom of the Championship.

Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield: \"I've never responded to hotheads who want to sack somebody, I don't think its ever worked, look at Sheffield United.\"

O'Driscoll is the longest-serving manager in the Championship with five years at the helm of Doncaster.

Yes from me.
When you go down to the training ground and see how happy everyone is then SOD must be doing something right.
Confidence comes from scoring goals, we lost 2 strikers in quick succession along with other key players and suddenly we hit rock bottom. Confidence and league wise.
Its only a matter of time before it all kicks off and we move up the table.
Hopefully the signing of Parkin will be the start of brighter thing to come, plus Sharpy cant be to far away from full training.

Im a bit 50/50 now,  I will wait to see what happens at the weekend.  I still think 0 wins in 7 months is beyond a joke, no matter what the opposition is and injurys etc.

Some of the opposition we have played in these games have been on a par with us.  I.E.  Preston H, Barnsley A, Bristol City x2 H+A,  Watford H, Crystal Palace H,

I am still angry at the way we threw away the lead at Brighton at the start of the season,  The players looked like they didn't care once Billy/Hayts had gone off.

This season has been hard and we have had a tough run of games to start us off. I hope we get a win at the weekend but I am not very optimistic at the moment even with Pork Pie signing.

I know the sodites are wanting him to stay and I would love him to turn it around but unfotunatly I just can't see it happening and think we need a change of manager.

We will wait and see!!

It's a yes from me too.
Although i am beginning to have my doubts,I do think he will sort it out.I'd give him a good while yet,and as i've said before, the Coventry game would be crunch time for me. If we are still struggling and don't beat them come the end of october then we really will be in the shit coz i know a few cov fans round here and they know they are going down!
